How You Will Make An Impact
- Oversee and lead key departments, including Manufacturing, Technical Support, and Warehouse ensuring Good Manufacturing Practice are followed and key performance indicators are met.
- Ensure production schedules align with inventory control and resource allocation for efficient operations.
- Control operational costs, enhance process efficiency, and implement continuous improvements for quality and safety.
- Ensure adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices - cGMP - Food and Drug Administration regulations, and established procedures.
- Build partnerships with department leaders, liaise between Research and Development, Quality, and Manufacturing, and ensure seamless execution of strategic programs.
- Manage departmental budgets, monitor costs, and provide strategic recommendations for site growth and technological advancement.
- Guide technical investigations, drive operational improvements, and champion Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Foster strong leadership, coaching, and succession planning to develop and retain high-performing teams.
- Performance Monitoring- Track key metrics, assess risk, and communicate operational performance to site leadership for informed decision-making.
- Minimum Required Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
- Preferred MS, PhD, MBA
- Minimum Required 15 plus years of progressive pharmaceutical technical operations
- Leadership Minimum 5 years in a people leader role
- This position may require the use of personal protective equipment - PPE - such as lab coats, gloves, safety glasses, and respirator masks in accordance with safety protocols.
- Pre-employment requirements may include a background check, drug screen, pulmonary function test - PFT - vision test, and DEA debarment screening, depending on the role.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical activity, such as standing, walking, or lifting, as applicable to the position.
