As a member of the Center of Excellence, the Project Specialist will support the project lifecycle by assisting with planning, coordination, and communication to help ensure projects meet their goals on time and within budget. This role offers hands-on exposure to project management activities including system upgrades, automations, and process improvements.
Your role:
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an office position.

The pay range for this position in TN is $62,250.00 to $99,600.00.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Your role:
- Aid in project planning by developing schedules, tracking timelines, and organizing resources with support from senior managers.
- Assist in task coordination, team communication, and deadline follow-ups to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare status reports and communicate updates to stakeholders while participating in risk identification and issue escalation.
- Support budget tracking, resource allocation, change management activities, and help teams adapt to new processes.
- Maintain project documentation, participate in LEAN initiatives, and contribute to meetings for continuous improvement collaboration.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Science, Engineering or Information Systems OR Vocational Education in Service Delivery or equivalent.
- Proven project management experience with coursework or certifications (e.g., CAPM, internal training) and willingness to learn resource and time management.
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork abilities, and a positive attitude toward collaborative work and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, coupled with a problem-solving mindset.
- Adaptability and openness to learn new tools and methodologies; familiarity with service contracts or SAP is a bonus.
