SUMMARY:
Compliance Coordinator will provide knowledgeable guidance to ensure that all services and supports are provided in ways that meet the standards as outlined within State contracts and CMS mandates with a focus on standardization, compliance, audits, dashboards and Therap. This position will act as a point of contact for RISE staff and its community partners. The incumbent will have expertise in the primary areas impacted by the CMS Rules and will oversee and assist RISE with meeting all matters of operation’s compliance and regulation expectations with Time and Attendance systems. Supervise and support QA Compliance Specialists.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Standardization: Contribute to SOP/Form review and creation; assist with policy amendments as part of strategies for minimizing compliance risks; contribute to sample member binder for district programs
- Compliance: Assist with EVV compliance and audits; elaborate policy details to company management to provide insight and understanding of set laws; assist with member book compliance audits and training; collects data for and submits Monthly Progress Reports to DDD; creates and maintains compliance scorecards for district programs; correct and address issues of non-compliance in a manner that limits recurrence and promotes adherence to set rules
- Audits: Assist with and perform annual internal compliance audits; prepare for external compliance audits by carrying out internal audits to ensure all regulatory requirements are maintained; assist with Google Drive and HIPAA audits; performs Client Fund Audit
- Dashboards: Review and track Incident Reporting and Resolution; creates Matrix Report for Group Homes; creates new and maintains current reports provided to all programs
- Therap: Supervise Therap data entry for new members and new employees; oversee Therap data audits
- Scheduling: Prepare schedules and timetables for the inspection of management practices
- Data Analysis: Analyze data in Excel to solve problems; conduct periodic assessment of an organization’s operations to ensure they are in line with external and internal regulations
- Risk Control: Develop and implement strategies necessary for minimizing risk of non-compliance; maintain an up-to-date knowledge of specialized and general business policies in order to effectively manage risks; monitor compliance risk controls to identify deviations and proffer recommendations on management of compliance issues
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience working with individuals with a disability
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
- Knowledge and experience in business, supervision and management
- Knowledge and experience with quality improvement
- Experience interpreting state and federal regulations; policy experience in areas of Medicaid
- Demonstrative technical and computer software skills including the ability to manipulate and analyze data through excel, reporting tools and run queries
- Some travel less than 20% of the time
- Ability to pass criminal background check including Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, drug test and driving record check
- Sit for extended periods of time
- Work remotely on occasion
- Manage indirect reports effectively
- Meet specific project timelines
- Position requires prolonged computer monitor viewing
- This position is very detail oriented and will require a person that is proficient meeting deadlines
