Job Summary/Description

WIBW is seeking a Reporter/Multi-Media Journalist to join the #1 news team in the capital of Kansas. This position requires daily reporting, writing, and editing for all major newscasts. We are looking for someone who can produce excellent broadcast stories while also contributing to all digital and social media platforms. The position could include periodic opportunities to anchor.

Duties/Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)

  • Candidate must be a good writer who can understand complex stories
  • Candidate must have the ability in live news reporting
  • Contribute to digital platforms
  • Preferred candidate must have backup News Anchor ability
  • Shift to be determined, expect some evening/weekend hours

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Prefer a college degree in broadcast or print journalism or the communications field
  • Must have a valid driver's license
