Wilmington Preschool of the Artsis a licensed childcare center seeking a full-time Floater!
To beQUALIFIEDfor this position, we require a high school diploma, GED and the ability to pass all background checks. Aplusif you have previous childcare experience and are working towards an AA degree in Early Childhood Education!
Required Shift:Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Compensation: $13-$15, based on experience and education

- Assistthe lead teacher with all aspectsof the classroomin a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activitiesthatencourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative,and physical development.
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism,and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
- Createandmaintainan environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family toprovidequality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running,and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
