Overview
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer I to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow.
GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.
Position Location Detail: This position is located at our GD Lincoln West facility.
Internal Applications Close: 05/30/25.
Major Position Responsibilities
Associate's Degree & 0-3 years experience OR equivalent combination of relevant education &/or exerience.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Quality or Engineering.

Major Position Responsibilities
- Establishes quality standards for products and processes and suggest modifications meant to prevent defects in components or final products.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams, including product design, product management, and production, to identify and mitigate quality risks.
- Audits production processes, raw materials, or suppliers/vendors to ensure that established quality standards are met.
- Conducts root cause analysis for defects, non-conformities, or other quality failures.
- May be responsible for ensuring compliance with formal external quality standards, such as ISO 9001.
Associate's Degree & 0-3 years experience OR equivalent combination of relevant education &/or exerience.
