The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
- Product Management
- Electronic Catalog (ACES & PIES) Management
- Price Analysis and/or Price Management
- Coordination with related departments – Purchasing / Customer Service / Marketing / North and Latin America Sales divisions.
- Coordination with manufacturers / suppliers – US based and non-US based.
- Perform market analysis including analysis of competitive landscape, market segmentation.
- Manage product category in terms of profitability, market share, growth rate by market segment, and life cycle.
- Perform product trend and product gap analysis. Analyze new product opportunities and market conditions through trade shows, customer visits, vendor visits, and field research.
- Manage / create application data to assist in development of complete application catalogs.
- Manage website maintenance
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
