Job Overview

Fouts Electric Corporation is looking for a skilled and dynamic Commercial Electrical Foreman to oversee large-scale commercial projects valued over $5 million. This is an exciting opportunity to lead crews of 20+ electricians on complex concrete tilt-up construction projects throughout Los Angeles & Ventura Counties. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader, strong communicator, and respected team player who thrives in fast-paced commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and mentor teams of up to 20 electricians on ground-up commercial projects.
• Represent Fouts Electric at all foreman meetings, inspections, and job site events.
• Coordinate with general contractors, superintendents, project managers, and inspectors.
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports, material logs, and As-Built drawings.
• Read and interpret Architectural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical plans.
• Forecast labor and material needs and ensure proper resource allocation.
• Enforce job site safety practices and compliance with state codes and company policies.
• Promote a team-oriented culture built on accountability, trust, and open communication.
  
  

Qualifications

• Required: State of California Journeyman Electrician's License.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in the commercial/industrial electrical trade.
• Minimum 4 years' experience as a Foreman leading large crews.
• Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with critical path scheduling and construction planning.
• Skilled at reading and interpreting detailed construction documents.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on active job sites.
