The Outpatient RN CAP 2 is an entry-level nursing role within the Clinical Advancement Program, responsible for providing coordinated, clinically competent care to patients undergoing hemodialysis.
- Performs patient assessments, treatment adjustments, and documents care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educates patients and families on treatment options and self-care.
- Administers medications, responds to emergencies, and ensures proper laboratory procedures.
- Acts as a leader, mentor, and resource for staff, participating in quality improvement activities.
- Maintains compliance with policies, regulations, and CAP requirements.
- Physical demands include heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and equipment handling.
- Requires current nursing licensure, CPR certification, nephrology experience, and minimum 2 years of RN experience.
