Job Overview

Millennium Fire & Security Inc is seeking an experienced Fire and Security Alarm Project Manager to oversee installation and service operations while mentoring technicians to uphold high standards of quality and efficiency. In this hands-on leadership role, you will manage field projects, interface with inspectors and contractors, and play a vital part in developing our team and systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead installation and service projects for fire and security alarms, access control, and CCTV systems
  • Train, mentor, and supervise technicians for skill development and project consistency
  • Collaborate with local inspectors and general contractors to ensure code compliance and timely inspections
  • Review and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specs
  • Troubleshoot complex systems from a variety of manufacturers and guide team resolutions
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and project documentation in software tools such as QuickBooks, MS Office, and Google Workspace
  • Ensure work is completed in compliance with NFPA standards and client expectations
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal teams
  • Uphold safety, quality, and operational standards on all job sites
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and work at height as required

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of industry experience in fire and security alarm systems
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong leadership skills and mentoring experience
  • Proficiency in NFPA codes, blueprint reading, and wiring methodologies
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across various system types and manufacturers
  • Strong computer literacy, especially with MS Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Valid driver's license with a clean background
  • NICET Level 2 certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred
