Millennium Fire & Security Inc is hiring a seasoned Fire and Security Alarm Technician to join our trusted Field Operations team. This role requires deep technical expertise and troubleshooting experience across all fire alarm, security alarm, access control, and camera system types. Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair all types of fire alarms, security systems, access control, and CCTV equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system layout drawings
• Identify and resolve complex wiring issues using a range of test tools
• Maintain and service systems from a variety of manufacturers
• Lead field teams and mentor less experienced technicians
• Deliver professional and clear communication with clients and co-workers
• Ensure compliance with national and local fire/life safety codes
• Document all service and installation work accurately and timely
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably at heights
• Stay current on new products and system technologies
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with fire and security alarms, access control, and camera systems
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring methods and materials
• NICET Level 1 in Fire Alarm Systems required; NICET Level 2 preferred
• Skilled in using test meters and diagnostic tools
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Clean background check and valid driver's license
• Confidence to contribute ideas, with respect for process and leadership
