This RN Unit Manager position in Schenectady, NY involves
- supervising the assigned unit
- establishing and implementing staff policies and procedures
- mentoring less experienced nurses with clinical and career guidance
- maintaining care standards and reviewing resident records and cases
- addressing resident and family questions or concerns
- representing the unit to upper management
- valid State RN License
- preferably 3 years Long Term Care experience
- preferably 2 years Charge Nurse experience
- strong computer and communication skills
