Job Overview

JWC Disaster Solutions, LLC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee and drive commercial reconstruction projects to success. This position will manage multiple construction projects from start to finish - handling client communications, managing schedules and budgets, coordinating field teams and subcontractors, and ensuring quality workmanship. Candidates with experience in commercial interiors and disaster recovery will thrive in this fast-paced and rewarding role. Preference will be given to candidates willing to travel.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Manage all phases of commercial restoration and reconstruction projects - from scope development and planning to final close-out.
  • Develop, manage, and track project schedules, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate and supervise field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success.
  • Manage project financials, including approving invoices, tracking restoration-specific costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare and manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Monitor work progress, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure adherence to building codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Anticipate and mitigate project risks, with a special focus on emergency restoration challenges and insurance-driven constraints.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and provide timely reports to leadership.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with Estimators and the Executive Team on project opportunities and proposals.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction with a strong background in disaster restoration or insurance reconstruction.
  • Strong knowledge of Commercial Interiors, including steel studs, metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, flooring, doors, paint, and specialty coatings.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and construction sequencing.
  • Experience with contract negotiation, change order management, and client communications.
  • Ability to lead teams, coordinate subcontractors, and drive projects to completion.
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
  • Tech-savvy - proficient with BuilderTrend, cloud-based project management software, schedule grids, and email.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel within Florida and across the Southeast as needed.
  • Looking for candidates open to traveling across the Southeastern U.S. to support project success in multiple locations.
