Summary

Provides graphic design support by the Marketing and Communication (MARCOM) Department, as well as other system entities, to support a positive image and create brand continuity for Memorial Healthcare System (MHS). Works with MARCOM leadership and agency to align with the brand all marketing assets, including ads, digital graphics, posters/flyers, invitations, banners, wraps, sales kits, brochures, rack cards, and a variety of other materials. In addition, supports the marketing team and agency of record in concepting and implementation of campaigns, which may include billboards, elevator wraps, social media and website graphics, print ads, and more. Works with internal stakeholders to provide graphic design support for projects such as templates for newsletters and PowerPoints, handbooks, guides, etc.

Responsibilities

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Coordinates and communicates progress of each job through departmental project management. Receives job requests through Workfront and delivers end product by deadline. Works independently and executes multiple projects under direction of the leader. Communicates project details with clients professionally and timely. Oversees multiple revisions, follows up with production staff to keep project on schedule through completion. Maintains and oversees both physical and digital project file archives and develops system to keep record of projects by service line to facilitate marketing team access.SUPPORTS MEMORIAL BRAND: Must adhere to and support the Memorial brand as it pertains to the graphic/brand standards manual. Monitors use of logos and other Memorial branding requirements on all produced materials. Establishes appropriate system and regional formats for various marketing materials. Provides feedback to internal staff, regional departments and agencies on quality standards. Assists with brand audits.MAINTAINS REQUIRED SKILLS: Keeps up on graphic and design trends, software, technology and developments. Skillful and proficient with design software including Adobe Creative Suite CC: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc. Understanding of computer software including Microsoft Office 365: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc. Attends seminars, programs and tutorials to keep current.GRAPHIC DESIGN: Responsible for design, layout and production of internal and external communications and marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, invitations, mailers, signage, print and digital advertisements. Works with internal customers to formulate design concepts and layouts, including photography and illustration/graphic creation and selection. Makes edits and revises layouts based on client and department feedback. Understands information design and implementation of editing direction. Produces print-ready files for traditional printing and publications to specifications required and produces digital-ready assets to specifications for placement on digital and social channels. Ensures all assets created abide by graphic/brand standards. Identifies opportunities to enhance graphics/visuals on existing MHS materials, including collaterals, signage, online assets, etc.MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS: Assists with various internal and external communications. Assists with copywriting and editing. May include: teasers, email campaigns, print and digital ads, etc. Assists with photography and video editing needs as requested. Volunteers to help with corporate events and activities upon request.
