Requirements For Account Manager
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in the insurance industry
- Must have P&C insurance license
- Proven relationship building, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, presentation, listening and organization skills
- Fluent with Microsoft products, including Teams, with the ability to quickly learn new apps and systems
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Salesforce (preferred)
- Positive thinker, comfortable with fast paced environment
- Strong knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products
- Ability to work in a team environment and train others as necessary
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, Power Point and Excel (knowledge of working with spreadsheets is required)
- Contact Centre experience (preferred)
- Providing excellent customer service for Property and Casualty insurance, completing requests including claims, endorsements, payments, and other insured requests
- Facilitating and achieving renewals
- Developing aggressive retention strategies as per customer feedback
- Providing quotes for prospects
- Fostering strong and lasting relationships with customers and producers
- Participating in scheduled team and office meetings
- Providing account management backup
- Maintaining working knowledge of carrier products and processes
- Performing other functions as required
