About The Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated, strategic, and relationship-driven Strategic Account Manager to join our Partnerships team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with high-impact partners such as eCommerce platforms, fintech companies, SaaS providers, and merchant service ecosystems.
You’ll own the relationship after the initial sales handoff, taking the lead on onboarding, launching, and scaling each partnership. Your mission: to transform every new deal into a thriving, multi-faceted collaboration. You’ll work to embed 8fig deeper into the partner’s ecosystem, finding new ways for their users to adopt and benefit from our funding platform. This includes building integrations, co-developing go-to-market strategies, launching joint campaigns, and identifying new use cases that create value for both sides.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the post-sale partner relationship, taking over from the Sales team to lead onboarding, implementation, and long-term success.
- Develop and execute partner growth plans, continuously identifying new ways to expand adoption and drive business value.
- Proactively explore new initiatives that increase 8fig’s visibility, usage, and integration within each partner’s ecosystem (e.g., product integrations, co-branded experiences, embedded finance tools).
- Build strong, consultative relationships with partner stakeholders across Product, Marketing, and Sales teams.
- Launch and manage joint go-to-market campaigns, partner training sessions, referral programs, webinars, and co-sponsored events.
- Act as the internal champion for each partner, working cross-functionally to ensure smooth execution, alignment, and measurable success.
- Monitor key account metrics and identify actionable insights to improve performance and partner satisfaction.
- Lead recurring business reviews and maintain a regular communication cadence with partners to ensure alignment, trust, and momentum.
- Stay on top of industry trends and partner developments to identify white space opportunities and strengthen 8fig’s strategic position.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in strategic account management, partnerships, or customer success—ideally in eCommerce, fintech, SaaS, or B2B platforms.
- Proven success in growing and expanding partnerships through integrations, co-marketing, and ecosystem engagement.
- Strong understanding of the eCommerce landscape, including platforms, marketplaces, enablement tools, and merchant pain points.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic goals into tactical initiatives that drive adoption and ROI.
- Experience managing complex handoffs from Sales to Account Management with a focus on partner enablement and success.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
- Highly organized with a data-driven mindset and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools, dashboards, and tracking KPIs.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
