IT Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our dynamic team in a full in-office position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems. This role requires a strong foundation in operating systems, computer management, and customer service to effectively assist users with their technical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across various operating systems, primarily Windows, while working in-office.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, and networking equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity problems and perform basic computer networking tasks.
• Utilize Smartsheet or similar ticketing systems to track issues and document resolutions.
• Conduct regular maintenance on computer systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to implement IT projects and upgrades as needed.
• Educate users on best practices for computer management and security protocols.
  
  
  

Experience

• Proven experience in an IT support role or similar position is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows), computer management, and IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with firewall configurations and computer networking principles.
