We are seeking a detail-oriented, strategic, and collaborative Deal Desk Manager to serve as a trusted advisor to our sales team and cross-functional stakeholders. This role will oversee the structuring, review, and approval of complex deals to ensure alignment with company policies, pricing strategies, and revenue goals. The Deal Desk Manager will be critical in improving deal velocity, standardizing commercial terms, and maximizing revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance to review and structure complex deals that balance customer needs and business objectives.
  • Provide guidance on pricing, discounting, contract terms, and approval workflows.
  • Own and manage the end-to-end deal desk process, including quote creation, approvals, and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain deal desk playbooks, tools, and approval matrices.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and recommend process improvements to accelerate deal closure.
  • Ensure all deals comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Act as a strategic advisor for enterprise and non-standard transactions.
  • Report on deal desk metrics, trends, and insights to leadership.
  • Lead or support system enhancements (e.g., CRM, CPQ, CLM) to streamline deal processes.
  • Train and enable the sales team on pricing tools, deal desk policies, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, deal desk, revenue operations, or contract management.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, pricing strategies, and revenue recognition principles.
  • Experience with CRM (e.g., HubSpot, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience managing or scaling a deal desk function in a high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with contract law, licensing models, and compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and drive change across departments.
