The tuition manager/office assistant manages all tuition plans using FACTS by communicating with families and the principal to ensure all tuition is collected. As the office assistant this person will assist in the overall administration of the office and have specific responsibilities per the principal.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, manage, and communicate with families regarding all tuition plans using FACTS
  • Oversee, collect, and document all Preschool for All paperwork and enrolling
  • Oversee and manage all compliance requirements for guardians and staff using VIRTUS
  • Oversee and manage all testing (IAR, etc.) in collaboration with principal
  • Translating all documents that are sent to families
  • Wednesday Weekly: translate and send to all families, staff, etc.
  • Oversee and manage the school website
  • Manage the Action for Children (CCAP) documents and paperwork
  • Assistant with all office tasks including answering phones, doors, forms, student assistance, etc.

Requirements And Preferences

  • Education required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Education preferred: Some college or formal secretarial training
  • Experience required: Minimum of 3 years of related office experience or equivalent combination of formal education and related work experience
  • Experience preferred: 5 year direct secretarial experience in a school or fast paced environment
  • Skills required: possesses proficient computer and word processing skills; fulfills tasks efficiently and accurately, adept at proofreading; works independently, handles a variety of tasks assigned by different members of the staff; meets deadlines; ability to handle a variety of telephone inquiries from school constituencies. Expected to carry materials and climb stairs
  • Other required: excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to contribute to the overall efficiency of the office; capacity to work with co-workers; the capacity to manage multiple tasks and activities.
  • Compliance with Safe Environment Requirements. Understands the operation and mission of Catholic education; is sensitive to the needs of racially and ethnically diverse school communities
  • Is bilingual (Spanish) in order to facilitate communication with both Spanish an English-speaking parents
  • Other preferred: practicing Catholic

This position has an hourly salary range of $15.00 - $16.00/hour. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
