Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Analyst to join our Strategic Partnerships team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment, brings intellectual rigor to financial modeling and operations, and contributes to evolving our internal processes with new ideas and structured experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain complex financial models in Microsoft Excel, including detailed margin analyses, revenue forecasts, and partner-specific proformas.
  • Manage a fast-moving and high-volume pipeline of requests across internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Collaborate with Finance for accurate, timely, and actionable monthly P&L reporting and financial insights.
  • Join prospect and partner meetings to gather operational inputs and help shape value-driven solutions.
  • Contribute structured recommendations for improving internal processes, financial workflows, and operational playbooks.
  • Identify risks, business model inefficiencies, and potential deal constraints through financial due diligence.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives involving CRM data, sales performance analytics, and pricing strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, operations, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency: ability to build, audit, and optimize multi-variable models using complex functions, pivot tables, lookups, and macros.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proactivity and independent problem-solving in prior roles, with a track record of improving workflows or implementing new processes.
  • Strong project management capabilities: ability to juggle multiple initiatives, respond to shifting priorities, and deliver results on tight timelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and experience in tracking pipeline data or performance KPIs.
  • Strong capability in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to generate structured insights, reports, and prompt-driven automation.
  • Strong organizational and listening skills; detail-oriented and responsive to feedback.
  • Experience with Amazon or other online marketplaces, or a working knowledge of basic programming principles.
