General Description

The purpose of this class within the organization is to support the daily operations of the Rapid ReHousing program through administrative, financial, and documentation tasks. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate service delivery by assisting with data entry, file maintenance, communications, reporting, payment processing, and coordination with case managers, landlords, and community partners. This class works under close supervision according to set procedures.

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

Requires bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, supplemented by six months of customer service or administrative work. The equivalent combination of education and related work experience may be considered.

Special Certifications And Licenses

Valid Driver’s License.

  • Work is performed onsite. The incumbent must be present at work to perform the essential functions of this job.

Essential Job Functions

  • Conducts intake assessments involving face-to-face evaluations with participants eligible for the Rapid ReHousing program.
  • Supports case managers with onboarding and lease-up logistics, including reviewing leases, sending agreements for signature, and tracking move-in dates.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date Rapid ReHousing program records and client files in accordance with agency and funder requirements.
  • Tracks documentation deadlines and follows up on required client paperwork and monthly case manager check-ins.
  • Assists with processing rental assistance payments, utility deposits, and landlord reimbursements.
  • Utilizes the Homeless Management Information System to update participant’s information and ensure accuracy and consistency across platforms.
  • Prepares reports for funders, leadership, and internal quality assurance.
  • Manages internal communications and coordination between Rapid ReHousing Program Managers, case managers, finance staff, and landlords.
  • Maintains program spreadsheets, calendars, and digital and paper-based file systems.
  • Provides administrative support meetings, training sessions, and audits.
  • Responds to general inquiries from landlords and participants or route them to the appropriate team member.
  • Assists with providing the Housing Development Corporation of Rock Hill (HDC) and its partners with listings of potential housing units in alignment with client needs and geographic preferences.
  • Assists with the provision of timely initial inspections to ensure compliance with HUD safety standards and lead-safe status.
  • Performs all other duties as may be assigned to meet organizational needs.
