- Audit mortgage loan files for compliance inaccuracies according to internal, investor, and federal overlays
- Manage a daily pipeline while adhering to strict deadlines
- Audit incoming loans to closing, balance Closing Disclosures, and give the green light for closing to occur
- Review executed closing packages and coordinate funding authorization with title companies
- Serve as a conduit between the closing department, bankers, and analysts to ensure a smooth loan process for the borrower
- Communicate with all divisions of the bank and title companies to obtain necessary documentation in a timely fashion
- Provide white glove service to bank customers and mortgage bankers by executing best-in-class customer service procedures
- Work effectively under specific time constraints
- Work effectively both independently and as a team
- Operate and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Job Requirements:
- 2-year college degree or commensurate mortgage experience
- 5+ years of recent Residential Mortgage Closing experience
- Experience closing 60+ loans monthly
- Demonstrated history of meeting closing deadlines
- Working knowledge of Fannie Mae, FHA, VA, USDA and DPA programs
- Experience with traditional closings, mail-away, e-Closings
- Encompass experience is required
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Flexible with work schedules especially during peak volume and month-end
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
- Effective problem solver and team player
- Desire to grow into a future leader on our team
Salary Description
