Summary

700Credit is looking for a reliable Product Owner to join the team. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of new and existing product lines. This person will be responsible for maximizing product value within the Product team, specifically related to F&I products, lender relationships, product design, and credit reporting technology. The ideal candidate should have knowledge and strong skills in the areas of agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and strategic planning. This role is essential to the continued success of 700Credit’s expansion efforts and will have a direct impact on achieving company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Define and Communicate Product Strategy: Establish the strategic roadmap for 700Credit’s product portfolio in alignment with roadmap.
  • Oversee Product Development Lifecycle: Manage the development of feature enhancements across new and existing product lines, ensuring alignment with dealer needs, compliance standards, and market demands.
  • Lead Agile Integration Efforts: Collaborate with the Agile Transformation Office and take the lead with the Agile team to embed methodologies across teams, improving sprint planning, execution, and delivery outcomes.
  • Product Backlog Management: Create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog based on value, dependencies, and strategic goals related to customer requirements.
  • Create Functional Requirements: Partner with Business, Development, and QA teams to develop detailed Functional Requirements Documents that meet both business and technical criteria.
  • Evaluate Product Success Metrics: Analyze post-release performance using tools like PowerBI to assess ROI, adoption rates, and overall business impact.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including F&I departments, product design teams, and credit reporting agencies, to gather input, manage expectations, create clear user stories and provide updates on product progress.
  • Present Strategic Initiatives: Prepare and deliver data-driven presentations to Senior Management on product vision, performance insights, and marketplace opportunities.
  • Guide UI/UX Enhancements: Collaborate with the UI/UX Designer to ensure product features and workflows support usability and align with strategic design goals.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with a focus on automotive finance products, F&I, or lender technology.
  • Proven leadership experience managing IT projects and collaborating with technical development teams
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps or similar software development technologies
  • Experience designing and managing products across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and digital
  • Strong track record of working with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product Development, UX/UI, and Strategy
  • In-depth understanding of agile methodologies and leading Agile teams
  • Knowledge of credit bureau operations and credit reporting processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience working with stakeholders

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience in automotive finance or dealership operations
  • Familiarity with dealer management systems (DMS) and automotive F&I workflows
  • Understanding of automotive lending, risk assessment, and fraud prevention technologies
  • Experience with API integrations and SaaS product development
  • Background in large-scale system redesigns or digital transformation initiatives
  • Understanding of data security standards such as PCI-DSS and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
