The role is responsible for the full lifecycle design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of payroll reports for our Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) cloud system. The candidate will architect and optimize reporting solutions using MS Power BI, MS Fabric, and Azure Data Lake to deliver accurate, actionable insights for payroll processing. Key responsibilities include developing and refining payroll and costing reports, ensuring accurate reconciliation of payroll data across Oracle HCM Payroll Flow, and validating GL mapping and pay activities and balance categories. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot discrepancies, and continuously improve payroll reporting processes to support strategic decision-making. In addition, the role includes developing documentation, training materials and maintaining system integrity to ensure that all payroll and costing reports are consistent with internal accounting policies and external regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned software engineer with experience in data visualization and reporting tools, particularly Microsoft Power BI. They should possess a strong background in developing and maintaining complex reports for Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. Experience with modern data platforms such as MS Fabric and Azure Data Lake is critical, as is a thorough understanding of payroll processing methodologies, including Oracle HCM Payroll Flow. The candidate must be proficient in data structuring, familiar with GL mapping, and well-versed in analyzing pay activities and balance categories. A deep technical aptitude paired with strong problem-solving skills will enable the candidate to transform raw payroll data into meaningful, compliant, and insightful reports that drive business performance and compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 4+ years of experience with general programming languages such as Python and SQL
  • 3+ years of experience in building data visualizations and reporting solutions in PowerBI

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related field

The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
