Position Summary

The Vice President of Shared Services Excellence oversees and manages all operational projects, processes, and efficiency aspects of the Shared Services department to ensure proper alignment with clients, operational processes, and needs. They provide leadership, management, direction, and vision necessary to ensure the Company has proper and uniform dispatch controls, administrative processes, reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure operating efficiency and client satisfaction.

  • This role requires the ability to work onsite 5 days a week in our Charlotte, NC corporate office. If you are not local, you must be willing to relocate for this position in order to be considered.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Providing day-to-day leadership and management reflecting the core values of the Company
  • Oversee the client/supplier relationship with the outsourcing company
  • Driving the Shared Services team to meet service level agreement with our clients and achieve business goals and objectives
  • Providing data/matrix-driven outcomes for the Shared Services functions.
  • Ensuring measurement and effectiveness of all internal processes; providing timely, accurate, and complete reports on the operating condition of the Shared Services team to the necessary stakeholders
  • Spearheading the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes through project management
  • Collaborating with Management to develop and implement plans for the Shared Services infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization
  • Fostering a success-oriented, accountable environment within the Company
  • Managing the development of process flows and procedures to increase company efficiency and risk management
  • Attend client meetings to discuss field personnel opportunities; identify client needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  • Direct, review, or approve project design changes
  • Develop or implement policies, standards, and procedures for work
  • Communicate relevant project information to appropriate parties, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
  • Provide professional guidance to assist coworkers in career and leadership development; inspire co-workers to attain goals and pursue excellence
  • Team management: utilize team members to fullest potential, encourage collaboration, mitigate conflict, foster positive communication, acknowledgement, and appreciation
  • Processes related to legal and contracted compliance
  • Approve internal promotional assignments
  • Manage logistics services
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 5 or more years of team management experience
  • Experienced leader and business operations executive with appropriate industry experience
  • Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards
  • Strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

  • Management experience in a call center or dispatch environment is a plus
  • Software implementation
