oversee the completion of cultural resource projects across the
Southwest. In addition to project management and technical oversight,
business development and client relations will also be key in this role.

- WestLand**is seeking a full-time**Project Manager/Principal
may be based out of our Phoenix or Tucson locations. In addition to
providing technical expertise in cultural resource management, you will
also be tasked with helping to grow and mentor our cultural team and
oversee the completion of cultural resource projects across the
Southwest. In addition to project management and technical oversight,
business development and client relations will also be key in this role.
What will I be doing?
- Leading and coordinating cultural resource technical research and
- Creating and developing proposals including establishing budgets,
- Developing proposals and identifying necessary resources for
- Managing and coordinating archaeological projects including
clients on field survey, testing, monitoring, and/or data recovery
excavation projects.
- Coordinating with state and federal agencies, clients, and/or Tribal
- Building relationships with current and future clients and teaming
- Leading and mentoring teams of cultural resources professionals.
- Participating in marketing efforts.
- Occasionally participating in fieldwork activities.
- A master\'s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of supervisory experience on CRM projects
- Must hold an Arizona State Museum Principal Investigator permit or
- Must be an expert in local, state, and federal cultural resources
- Experienced in managing fieldwork, analysis, and report production
- Experienced in writing and reviewing technical archaeological
The salary range for this position is \$105,000 - \$120,000 annually.
