ANA is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada with locations in Cypress, California and Spartanburg, South Carolina. ANA is growing and scaling and we are seeking a Legal Coordinator - Intern to join our growing Legal team in an onsite position in Henderson, Nevada.
The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail oriented. This role is essential in supporting the legal department’s operations, with a focus on contract management, corporate compliance, equity administration, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal administrative processes and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays at 8:00 – 5:00pm. This role reports to the VP of Human Resources & Legal.
Role & Responsibilities:
Contract Management & Administration:
- Maintain and organize the company’s contract repository.
- Track contract lifecycles, including renewals, expirations, and key deadlines.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and processing contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and service contracts.
- Ensure proper execution and storage of all legal documents.
NDA Management:
- Oversee the intake, review, and renewal process for non-disclosure agreements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure NDAs are current and compliant.
Corporate Entity Compliance:
- Manage annual filings and corporate governance documentation for all legal entities.
- Coordinate with external corporate agents and internal stakeholders to ensure timely compliance with state and federal requirements.
Board of Directors (BOD) Support:
- Assist in preparing and distributing board meeting materials, including agendas, resolutions, and minutes.
- Maintain accurate records of board actions and corporate governance documents.
- Coordinate logistics for board and committee meetings, including scheduling and communications.
Equity Tools Management:
- Support the administration of the company’s equity compensation programs in collaboration with HR and Finance.
- Maintain accurate records in equity management platforms (e.g., Carta).
- Assist with equity grant documentation, tracking, and reporting.
Cross-Departmental Coordination:
- Serve as a liaison between the legal department and other departments to understand business needs and ensure legal support aligns with operational goals.
- Facilitate communication and documentation flow between legal and other teams.
General Legal Support:
- Provide administrative support to VP of Legal, including scheduling, document preparation, and research.
- Assist with legal audits, litigation support, and special projects as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in legal studies, business administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a legal support or coordinator role, preferably in a corporate legal department.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems and legal document management tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Contract Management platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with legal entity management platforms (e.g., CSC, Diligent Entities).
- Experience supporting board governance and equity administration.
- Paralegal certification or legal assistant training is a plus.
- Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance, technology).
