Building on the success of Flexsteel’s 130+-year-old brand is integral to our organizational strategy. The Marketing Content Manager will help take our brand to the next level by partnering with the leadership team in the implementation of fully integrated marketing activities and programs that promote Flexsteel brands, products, and services. This role will work in tandem with key internal and external business partners to develop, implement, and maintain online and offline content in support of Flexsteel’s overall Marketing objectives and the needs of the field sales organization and retailer network.

  • Oversee the Marketing's creation and management of content used to support Flexsteel Industries’ brands and product sales
  • Develop and maintain a content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year
  • Manage internal resources and outside agencies in the production, creative review, and distribution of online and offline marketing and sales support materials
  • Manage and delegate resources (data, assets, copy, content, etc.) to merchandise and populate image library, websites, backroom, and all content, sales/retail, and consumer facing materials
  • Be a champion for Flexsteel’s brands by participating in cross-functional activities that facilitate understanding and adoption of key brand principles
  • Prepare and observe the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
  • Communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as to brainstorm fresh strategies
  • Oversee the development and execution of Marketing deliverables for Flexsteel’s New Product Development Process for product launches, line expansions and discontinuations
  • Partner with fulfillment hand of marketing department to deliver point of sale materials and retailer needs
  • Lead marketing elements tied to Flexsteel’s High Point & Vegas Markets and other marketing events
  • Proficient marketing writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong skills in multi-tasking, project management, organization and communication
  • Impressive style: pro-active, energetic, creative, persuasive, optimistic
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
