Winpak Lane Inc. is seeking dynamic results driven Outside Machinery Sales Representative (Heavy Equipment) responsible for driving sales growth through the promotion and sale of liquid packaging machinery. This role combines technical expertise with strong sales acumen to develop new customer relationships, maintain existing accounts, and generate revenue through strategic market engagement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of packaging equipment, customer-centric problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions to clients across diverse industries (e.g., food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, and medical).

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Manage sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing. Conduct client site visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company product offerings, machinery specifications, and integration processes. Partner with Engineering, R&D, and Aftermarket teams to ensure accurate communication of equipment capabilities and requirements.
- Act as the key point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction through excellent communication, responsiveness, and follow-through. Collaborate with the service team to ensure customers receive exceptional support during and after project implementation.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and contribute to annual budgeting processes. Track sales performance against goals and report progress to leadership.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in outside machinery sales or business development within the packaging or capital equipment industry.
- Demonstrated success in complex, technical sales environments.
- Proven ability to manage sales territory and meet revenue targets.
- MBA or advanced coursework in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
- Fluent in English; Spanish fluency is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand liquid packaging machinery and integrated systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with CRM systems is preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics.
