Responsible for defining and executing Click Bond’s commercial strategy in the assigned Region/customer portfolio. Continuously evaluates territory and key customers’ progress to implement strategic initiatives and changes that will ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
Responsible for defining and executing Click Bond’s commercial strategy in the assigned Region/customer portfolio. Continuously evaluates territory and key customers’ progress to implement strategic initiatives and changes that will ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help define and document commercial strategy.
- Translate strategy into tactical plan with specifics regarding customer, applications and market targets.
- Inform and deploy product market strategy, collect and communicate market response.
- Identify, validate and prioritize NBOs (new business opportunities) in the region with focus on strategic customers and market segments.
- Maintain regional NBO Sales Funnel accuracy (Salesforce).
- Coordinate with Business Development (Field Applications Engineer) team for technical support of customers in the Region.
- Provide guidance, and support to the regional sales team in pursuit of new products and/or new engineering solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Lead the team in working closely with customers and partners in the Region for the identification of new market trends and innovative applications for the product portfolio.
- Participate actively on company forums, meetings and cross functional initiatives reporting on, and seeking feedback relating to the commercial activities and goals.
- Monitor performance of key customer accounts using Strategic Quadrant approach or similar data analysis tools.
- Run regional Gap Analysis of exiting business and formulate recovery counter measures when applicable.
- Define and meet regional business vitality objectives, promoting sales of new products and developing new customers.
- Ensure regional strategic alignment by meeting regularly with all of the organization’s cross functional leaders.
- Work closely with sales/operations for meeting price realization objectives and defining market price benchmarks.
- Lead contract negotiation and fulfillment for all key customers with a global focus where applicable.
- Represent the region in the Forecasting process, with timely updates on the changes to demand patterns in current business and details of future opportunities.
- Report and monitor quality and service issues for timely resolution, working with the internal team for root cause analysis and validating customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of sales strategy.
- Coach and enable team while also helping identify and promote new talent for organizational growth.
- Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
- Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate Click Bond policies and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas.
- Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Strong business acumen with ability to work both strategically and tactically as needed.
- Ability to develop and present reports for regional business review.
- Able to translate reports and data into business decisions and tactical plans.
- Strong market analysis, strategic planning, leadership and teambuilding skills.
- Strong knowledge of and experience in aerospace, both commercial and defense markets.
- Knowledge of fastener technology in the aerospace industry.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized self-starter.
- Must be results driven.
- Capability to resolve complex problems and lead cross functionally.
- Must be able to travel frequently, approximately 40% of the time or more.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering and five years in manufacturing or design and sales of related products or industry or,
- Bachelors Degree in another discipline and ten years in manufacturing or design and sales or related products or industry.
- Directly manages outside Sales Managers, along with ability to lead members of other functions effectively.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- The work is primarily sedentary, although there may be some walking, standing, bending, and carrying of items, such as paper or books, weighing less than 10 pounds.
