Now, we’re looking for a Creative Director (YouTube & Social) to bring our content and brand to life across platforms — especially through high-impact video.
Your Mission
To own and execute the creative vision across SelfPublishing.com (60%) and Chandler Bolt’s personal brand (40%) — with a laser focus on growing revenue, reach, and engagement across our content channels.
When done well, your work will amplify our presence across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, blogs, and more — helping us reach more authors and drive real business growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
We already generate 400+ qualified leads per day — and that number is growing. Your work will help us get our message out to millions more future authors by supercharging our content engine. With the right person in this seat, our content will be a growth channel in and of itself.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and lead a video-first content & social media strategy to grow our audience, boost engagement, and generate revenue.
- Own and grow our YouTube presence — from channel strategy and content ideation to optimization and performance tracking.
- Oversee creation of high-quality, compelling content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Manage a team of content creators, designers, and social strategists — building a culture of creativity and results.
- Align content strategy with sales, marketing, and product teams to drive qualified leads and conversions.
- Use performance data to optimize campaigns and report on key success metrics.
- Direct the creation of beautiful, brand-aligned visual assets — from thumbnails and reels to long-form YouTube videos.
- Stay ahead of trends, platform updates, and emerging tech to keep us cutting-edge.
- Launch bold, innovative content campaigns that blend storytelling with strategy and revenue outcomes.
- 5+ years in a content leadership or creative director role, ideally in publishing, personal branding, or a service-based business.
- Proven success creating and growing YouTube channels and video-based content strategies.
- A strong creative vision paired with the ability to execute and optimize.
- Experience leading and inspiring creative teams to hit ambitious content and growth goals.
- Proficiency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms.
- A data-driven mindset — you love diving into metrics to improve content and drive results.
- Deep knowledge of social media trends, platforms, and algorithms — you know what works and why.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to keep messaging clear, compelling, and on-brand.
- A passion for helping people share their stories, ideas, and impact through books and thought leadership.
