Description Overview

Activate is a full-scale interactive gaming facility. We are looking to grow our leadership team with the addition of a Regional Director. A successful applicant will lead, coach, and support General Managers across multiple locations to ensure consistent operations, exceptional guest engagement, and alignment with Activate’s culture, values and standards.

This is a full time, permanent position that requires regular travel between locations. Hours of work must be flexible to meet the needs of the business and will include a combination of days, evenings and weekends. A qualified candidate will have multi-unit leadership experience, strong coaching skills and a track record of driving operational excellence and team development.

Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities

Operations Oversight

  • Lead and coach General Managers across assigned locations to ensure consistent execution of operational procedures and guest experience standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure cleanliness, room readiness, maintenance and check in/check out processes meet Activate standards.
  • Oversee staffing strategies and collaborate with GM’s on hiring, onboarding and training to ensure consistency across locations.
  • Ensure accurate inventory practices that include weekly counts, timely ordering and minimizing waste while meeting operational demands.
  • Partner with GM’s to execute effective labor, scheduling and operational adjustments based on store needs.


Performance and Development

  • Monitor store-level metrics including guest satisfaction, revenue, staffing and online reviews.
  • Work collaboratively with General Managers to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions to drive performance.
  • Provide ongoing leadership feedback and succession planning for Assistant Managers and high potential team members.
  • Provide feedback, conduct coaching sessions and facilitate performance development initiatives.


Guest Relations

  • Support the resolution of escalated guest concerns and coach General Managers on effective first- time conflict resolutions.
  • Maintain a guest first mentality across all stores and ensure guest feedback is consistently reviewed and acted upon.


Communication and Leadership Alignment

  • Act as a bridge between store level leadership and company leadership by sharing performance updates, trends, feedback and resource needs.
  • Ensure timely communication of company goals, initiatives and operational changes to all assigned locations.
