Overview
The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and executing the Company's talent acquisition strategy, encompassing end-to-end recruitment of a high-volume of employees, vendor management, and talent acquisition marketing. This pivotal role shapes how NFI attracts, engages, and hires top talent, cultivating a strong employer brand and delivering a seamless candidate experience. This leader will work in close collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence, business leaders, and external partners to establish an integrated, strategic, and data-driven approach to talent acquisition that fosters organizational growth and inclusion. Additionally, this role will drive initiatives to optimize technology and its positive impact on team success.

Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Strategy & Delivery
- Lead and oversee the full-cycle recruitment strategy
- Partner with business units to understand workforce needs and align recruiting processes and resources accordingly
- Manage and oversee all aspects of recruiting events, passive sourcing, AI and recruiting tools, social media strategy, and branding efforts
- Manage the talent acquisition budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI on recruitment initiatives
- Ensure consistent utilization of ATS/CRM platforms and effective sourcing practices across the TA function
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals, which include TA
- Managers, Marketing Professionals and Talent Acquisition Partners across field and corporate domains
- Drive team accountability for KPIs, service delivery, and continuous development while analyzing performance data to recommend and implement process enhancements
- Develop and present key talent acquisition metrics and performance reports to HR leadership and business stakeholders
- Cultivate a culture of high performance, collaboration and innovation across the TA function
- Collaborate with HR business partners on workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business needs
- Lead system enhancements, training, and adoption of recruiting technologies across the TA team
- Oversee TA Marketing Manager to develop and execute employment brand campaigns
- Oversee the management of social media, online presence and recruitment marketing tools that reflect NFI as an employer of choice
- Align brand strategy across corporate and field recruiting efforts
- Lead the continuous refinement and communication of NFI's Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to attract and retain top talent
- Partner with Compliance, D&I, and HR leadership to ensure TA practices comply with laws and internal policies in both the US and Canada
- Promote inclusive hiring practices and diversity-focused recruiting strategies
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 8 years experience leading talent acquisition and/or HR teams in a high-growth environment. Experience in a logistics, transportation, supply chain or other industry that requires a high-volume of recruiting is highly preferred
- Strong experience managing TA technology and vendor ecosystems
- Excellent project management and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
- Clear, confident communication and proven ability to influence across all employee levels
- Deep knowledge of recruitment marketing, sourcing strategies, and labor market trends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, iCIMS
- Knowledge of EEO, OFCCP, and employment law compliance requirements
