About The Role
This position requires U.S. citizenship.
We're seeking 3 CAD / Revit Drafter professionals to join our on-site team in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. You'll support an ongoing program to modernize building documentation — converting legacy CAD files to a Revit-based BIM environment. Your work will directly enhance the value of building data for operations, maintenance, and renovation projects.

About The Role

We're seeking 3 CAD / Revit Drafter professionals to join our on-site team in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. You'll support an ongoing program to modernize building documentation — converting legacy CAD files to a Revit-based BIM environment. Your work will directly enhance the value of building data for operations, maintenance, and renovation projects.
Responsibilities
CAD / Revit Modeling
- Create and maintain 2D AutoCAD drawings and 3D Revit models
- Convert legacy CAD and MicroStation files to LOD 300+ Revit models
- Integrate LIDAR point clouds, redlines, field verification, and as-built data
- Support Revit template creation and BIM workflows
- Conduct clash detection and QA/QC
- Maintain model metadata and version control
- Coordinate with GIS, engineering, project management, and other stakeholders
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to continuous improvements
- Index drawings and models into a secure project data repository
- Perform file conversions and ensure records compliance
- Respond to service requests
- Provide visual deliverables to support planning and project execution
- Assist with training on CAD/BIM standards and tools
Experience
- 3+ years as a CAD / Revit Drafter (AEC, facilities, construction, or related field)
- Proficient with:
- AutoCAD (2D drafting)
- Autodesk Revit (3D modeling, families)
- Familiar with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and COBie
- MicroStation and ProjectWise experience preferred
- Experience with LiDAR point clouds is a plus
- AutoCAD | Autodesk Revit | MicroStation | ProjectWise
- ArcGIS (basic a plus) | Bluebeam Revu | Adobe Acrobat
- Microsoft SharePoint & Office Suite
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to pass background screening
- On-site work: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
