Airswift is looking for a Cost Analyst to support a major client in Longmont, CO on a 1-year assignment
The position will focus on assisting in tracking/controlling/reporting of construction project cost, capturing of project changes, and monthly projections.

The position will focus on assisting in tracking/controlling/reporting of construction project cost, capturing of project changes, and monthly projections.
Responsibilities
- Track and report up-to-date construction project costs in addition to EACs and variances
- Research vendor invoiced costs in SAP to locate any budget variances to log and report them to the Engineering team for improvement of project estimates
- Create, maintain, and distribute routine monthly reports as-sociated with all assigned construction project expenses
- Prepare reports to lead monthly accrual and reforecast meetings to update management teams
- Utilizing detailed project schedules to develop cost time-phased data forecasts
- Prepare detailed ad-hoc reports
- Ensure scope change process adherence
- Create and maintain scope change log
- Create and manage budgets, and monitor spending
- Provide monthly accruals and project cost forecast to Engineering, Accounting, and Planning teams
- Coordinate and work with all stakeholders on creating new reports that best measure and support good business decisions to meet the Year End Annual Budget target
- Attend meetings and conference calls as required to offer in-put for process improvement and standardization
- Provide back-up for other field cost analysts’ deliverables during absences
- 5+ years of experience in construction cost control
- Proficient with Prism and SAP
- Excellent skills with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Out-look
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Well organized and flexible
- Extreme attention to details and data integrity
- Desire to drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective cost control programs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring strong work ethics
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
