What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading the Admissions Journey: Act as the primary contact for prospective families, guiding them through the application process and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Creating Lasting First Impressions: Organize tours, open houses, and information sessions that clearly demonstrate our fast-paced, effective learning model.
  • Utilizing Data for Strategic Decisions: Monitor admissions metrics using HubSpot and SIS, analyze trends, and provide insights to enhance outreach strategies.
  • Updating Our Playbook: Keep FAQs and SOPs current, ensuring every interaction is consistent and clear.
  • Fostering Meaningful Connections: Build empathetic and insightful relationships with prospective families, ensuring a smooth and memorable admissions experience.

Director Of Admissions Key Responsibilities

Drive enrollment conversions by delivering a personalized admissions experience that turns inquiries into engaged and enthusiastic families.

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years managing admissions or enrollment processes in competitive educational settings, with proven success in increasing enrollment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional presence with the ability to instill confidence in an audience.
  • Strong organizational skills, adept at managing multiple families, campuses, and deadlines at once.
  • Proficient in CRM and SIS systems (e.g., HubSpot, Veracross) with experience in maintaining accurate data records.
  • Demonstrated experience in high-touch, client-oriented service.
  • Must be based in Austin, TX, or willing to relocate, with up to 20% travel within the United States.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Experience in private school admissions, especially with affluent families.
  • Background in sales or marketing, emphasizing storytelling and relationship-building.
  • Familiarity with mastery-based or alternative educational models.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
