Responsible for the planning, execution, implementation, and monitoring of projects and solutions in collaboration with the software development team and various company departments.
Position Responsibilities
- Identifies, devises, implements, and supervises projects and procedures aimed at enhancing end-user efficiency and optimizing business workflows. This encompasses tailored solutions, off-the-shelf products, SaaS platforms, and reporting tools.
- Validates and crafts business cases for application strategies and end-user solutions, such as new software deployments or custom developments, in support of strategic business objectives and growth targets.
- Directs key company projects across various departments, strategically identifying pathways to achieve set objectives.
- Works with the Director of Software Development and leaders of company departments to identify and deliver IT projects and solutions in support of company goals.
- Manages support operations for the company’s enterprise accounting system.
- Collaborates with stakeholders at all organizational levels to optimize project management processes, facilitating stakeholder meetings and ensuring effective follow-ups.
- Oversees web design personnel to deliver customer-centric and timely websites.
- Guides business workflow development teams in delivering essential process automations and workflow enhancements.
- Leads business analysis units in providing top-notch software requirements and business case documentation.
- Supervises the reporting team in designing and implementing company reporting solutions.
- Develops financial models and comparisons to support solutions implementations.
- Collaborates with Training and Marketing teams to facilitate the rollout and adoption of solution implementations.
- Manages vendor relationships, nurturing existing partnerships and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
- Supports the CIO in onsite (Arizona) and virtual sales presentations and implementations of company software, training, and solutions at customer locations. Infrequent out of state trips.
- Strong experience leading enterprise projects and initiatives from inception to delivery
- Experience working with IT teams on bringing solutions to fruition from requirements gathering to end-user testing and deployment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: outgoing & communicative, socially oriented, poised, effective in groups, articulate, persuasive in expression, strong presenter.
- Ability to quickly connect and build relationships
- Self-direction. Capacity to set personal priorities, follow-up and report as required.
- Time management; the ability to be self-directed, organized and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to motivate staff.
- Hybrid working environment; must work 3 days a week from physical office.
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5+ years of full time, paid, professional experience in an IT project management role.
- Experience leading complex company projects and initiatives a must.
- Expert level knowledge of current and future company software systems.
- Experience managing people a must.
- Experience presenting to internal or external customers a must.
- Strong background in planning, implementing, and managing change.
- PMP Certification or experience in a PMO preferred.
- Utilizing a computer in an office setting for long periods of time.
- Utilizing personal vehicle for travel involved.
- Willing to travel to on-site and out of state locations for implementation, training, and development.
