We are seeking a forward-thinking product portfolio manager who is experienced with marketing analytics to provide market segmentation and voice of customer (VOC) shaping the future of our product portfolio. In this role, you will conduct analysis across our various product categories and segments to identify market and segment trends. You will research our products throughout their lifecycle, from concept to sunsetting (end of life) working with key work partners in product development, marketing, sales, and supply chain to optimize our portfolio performance. You will provide guidance on product promotion and pricing. Your goal is to optimize the product portfolio, thus increasing sales and profitability of Horizon’s industry-leading portfolio of innovative products.

Typical pay for this position is $80,000-$100,000 annually. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected. This position may also be eligible for a bonus not included in the base pay range.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify market trends, customer insights and competitive threats that shape the product portfolio, including pricing analysis.
- Champion portfolio management process, including facilitating monthly gate review meeting, quarterly portfolio review sessions, and annual portfolio strategic planning meetings.
- Review new product concepts and conduct analysis to ensure the concept exceeds the customer’s expectations.
- Develop and establish 24-month reporting driving new product launch scheduling to maintain a consistent flow of new product releases.
- Analyze sales data to identify new products and lifecycle performance trends.
- Ability to collect and analyze data to recognize trends
- Ability to be objective and maintain a strategic perspective
- Deep understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Ability to combine data from multiple sources and present the data visually
- Schedule, facilitate, and record notes for quarterly business and monthly product development gate meetings
- Identify gaps in the product portfolio and provide data driven recommendations
- Be an effective communicator across multiple company divisions
- Have a knack for prioritization
- Bachelor’s degree in related business field (e.g. Business Management, Marketing, Project Management, Finance, Data Science)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- System knowledge requirements: Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle, and Power BI.
- Ability to interact with and influence people at all levels within our organization.
- Strong analytical, presentation, reporting and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Skilled at translating customer needs into business opportunities
- Prior experience in consumer goods required. Experience with enthusiast brands is a plus.
