America’s Favorite Jeweler, Ross-Simons (a division of Luxury Brand Holdings), is seeking an Inventory Planner based in our Cranston, RI office. This hybrid position requires 4 days in-office and 1 day remote per week, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Supply Chain. The Inventory Planner is responsible for forecasting and procuring Ross-Simons’ direct-to-consumer jewelry assortment from both domestic and international suppliers. Success in this role is measured by the achievement of sales objectives and the maintenance of in-stock requirements for assigned jewelry categories. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical and technical skills, business acumen, and a passion for consumer products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Forecast jewelry demand at the SKU and channel using demand planning software (Tagetik) and issue purchase orders to vendors. Achieve inventory KPIs, including turnover and in-stock levels, for approximately 5,000 SKUs.
- Develop and strengthen vendor partnerships by managing and negotiating projection updates, discounts, compliance, and handling order releases, cancellations, and prioritizing shipment needs.
- Actively manage on-hand inventory and open orders to address overstock situations, including identifying and disposing of excess merchandise.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising to maximize inventory utilization in marketing campaigns, new product introductions, and other strategic initiatives.
Experience and Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience.
- Preferred experience in direct-to-consumer and multi-channel inventory planning and buying.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability tohandle multiple projects, meet deadlines independently, and make informed decisions quickly.
- Team player with a customer-focused approach, both internally and externally.
