Database
The pay range for this role considers several factors, including but not limited to required experience, skill level, prior training, education, and other business needs. Starting salary will near midpoint of range.

Database
- Experience with Apricot or similar case management database system UX (user experience) customization.
- Assumes primary responsibility for ensuring case management software meets end user needs and reporting requirements.
- Understand underlying database structures and data flows for troubleshooting and resolving data issues related to data syncs, imports, system upgrades, customizations, etc.
- Experience with SQL, MySQL or similar querying languages
- Python knowledge is a plus
- Address technical challenges and provide input on process improvement for organizational performance, improving efficiency, and monitoring outcomes.
- Aptitude to dive into data, identify patterns and draw conclusions.
- Train end users on optimal use of reports and dashboards to support data driven business decisions.
- Develop a complete understanding of Orion’s employment services models including onboarding, goals and processes of each program, and reporting requirements of each program and associated grant.
- Lead Apricot Case Management Steering Committee: Engage with all relevant staff to ensure the system is being utilized to increase efficiencies.
- Provides database quality control; investigates and resolves data and reporting inconsistencies; develops and implements workflow, data entry, collection, and reporting procedures.
- Develops written documentation, internal operating procedures, and end user instructions. Trains and notifies staff of changes to data entry and operational policies and procedures and provides ongoing technical assistance.
- Responsible for user acceptance testing of system modifications.
- May serve as liaison with outside agencies on data analysis and reporting issues and needs
- Support the export of data from Orion’s current database and accesses / provides historical information upon request.
- Act as backup for IT (Information Technology) support tickets as needed.
- Works collaboratively with staff to discuss departmental/program goals; ensures the database provides the required information and is used to its fullest capacity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Acts as an organizational representative in all situations, setting a strong example of professionalism, work completion and quality, and commitment to organizational goals and ethics
- Self-motivated, hard-working team player with proven outstanding organizational skills and very detail oriented and ability to work independently and manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once and meet critical deadlines.
- Assist in review of grant agreements, scopes of work and contracts to identify compliance requirements.
- Create a schedule of necessary reports and information to be reported to grantmaking agencies.
- Maintain a calendar of necessary reports and keep leadership apprised of upcoming obligations.
- Draft required reports based on collected information for services at each location.
- Coordinates with Billing/Finance Department
- Ensure timely delivery of necessary documentation to ensure grant compliance.
- Develop data collection templates to secure necessary information from relevant business lines.
- Support Managers in building reports for grant and program audits including DVR (Division of Vocational Rehabilitation), DDA (Developmental Disabilities Administration), CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) and CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) certification.
