Job Overview

Meyers Construction Co Inc is seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to lead and manage insurance damage repair and remodeling projects from initial assessment through final completion. You'll meet with clients on-site, prepare accurate estimates, and oversee multiple projects to ensure timely, high-quality work that restores homes and businesses. Responsibilities Include

  • Meet with potential clients at damage sites to assess needs, explain services, and build trust.
  • Assess damage, perform take-offs, and prepare comprehensive estimates for repairs.
  • Manage repair and restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with trade partners, subcontractors, and site teams; maintain active communication to keep projects on track.
  • Develop new contacts and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Be available for after-hours emergency situations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records, timelines, and project documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in estimating within the construction and/or insurance restoration industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or insurance claim adjusting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of residential remodeling project management experience.
  • Restoration industry experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate and/or Symbility estimating software is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license (company vehicle and gas provided).

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to keep clients informed and engaged.
  • Comfortable using computers, software, and technology for estimates and documentation.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
  • Resilient, patient, and effective under pressure.

Schedule

  • Full-time | Monday to Friday.
  • 9-hour workdays, day shift.
  • After-hours availability may be required for emergencies.
