Job Overview:

We are seeking a Process Engineer to support the onsite fabrication and assembly of jet engine components at our Jupiter, FL facility. In this role, you will apply established engineering principles to define, monitor, and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring products meet rigorous quality, cost, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document manufacturing processes by defining the sequence of operations and equipment needed to produce engine components.
  • Create and maintain standard work instructions, operation sheets, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct technical calculations, such as time studies and equipment capacity analysis.
  • Monitor production methods and processes to ensure adherence to specifications and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze production data to drive process optimization and troubleshoot manufacturing challenges.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Design Engineering, and Operations teams to support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on support on the shop floor to resolve technical issues and implement process enhancements.
  • Support production needs by working flexible hours and overtime as required.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Aerospace, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred).
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace or jet engine experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract regulations.
  • Willingness to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed to meet production demands.


Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP and MES systems.
  • Understanding of aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100).
