Responsibilities
As a Payroll Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our field operations' teams in the processing and delivery of payroll items weekly. This includes, but is not limited to:
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Position requires a drug test be completed, contingent upon employment and a background check if applicable.

Benefits
As a Payroll Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our field operations' teams in the processing and delivery of payroll items weekly. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Maintain confidential employee records.
- Employee contact for Payroll related requests.
- Develop, modify, and maintain departmental system and records for payroll processing.
- Verify overtime laws followed.
- Verify WA break and lunch laws are followed.
- Submit payroll for processing weekly.
- Ensure weekly time and job reports are printed and signed by all employees. Scan and file accordingly per SOX Compliance.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies by submitting payroll corrections.
- Complete payroll daily by costing labor and materials indicated on workorders.
- Ensure what is costed for labor and material does not exceed in large amounts what was included in customer's bid. Partner with Production Manager and/or Salesman as needed.
- Ensure time keeping policies are followed by employees and additional training and/or corrective actions are issued with Branch Manager approval
- Complete daily schedule sheets and give to Billing upon completion.
- Manage employee time keeping. Partner with Production Manager on repeat offenders that do not clock in/out correctly.
- Respond to payroll/billing audits from corporate
- Be an active and productive contributor to regular strategic and tactical meetings. Provide support and take ownership of departmental improvement projects.
- Onboard new hires and offboard terminations
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in office administration is a plus.
- Experience with billing and payroll
- Ability to assist with scheduling
- Experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
