Description

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Director of Product Analytics to lead our analytics function and drive data-informed decision-making across our product organization. This role will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing analytics team, partnering closely with product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders to uncover insights, optimize product performance, and shape the future of our product roadmap. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with deep analytical expertise, a passion for product innovation, and a strong ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities Include The Following, But Not Limited To

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the vision for product analytics, aligning with company goals and product strategy.
  • Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a team of product analysts and data scientists, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and impact.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and executives to identify key metrics, design experiments, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Data Infrastructure: Collaborate with data engineering to ensure robust data pipelines, tools, and infrastructure that support scalable analytics.
  • Experimentation & A/B Testing: Oversee the design, implementation, and analysis of experiments to evaluate product changes and new features.
  • Product Performance Monitoring: Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor product health, user behavior, and business KPIs.
  • Insight Generation: Translate complex data into clear narratives and recommendations that drive product decisions and innovation.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices in analytics, experimentation, and data science.

Key Criteria

  • Experience: 8-10 years in analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a product-focused environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker). Experience with experimentation platforms and statistical modeling.
  • Product Acumen: Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, user experience, and agile methodologies.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences and influence strategic decisions.
  • Business Impact: Demonstrated track record of using analytics to drive measurable business and product outcomes.
