Position Summary:

Human Resources Generalist (HRG) manages the overall human resource function for ALLDATA to include but not limited to, employee relations, training and development, recruiting and retention, and regulatory and compliance. The HRG provides HR business partnership to operational leaders; consultative HR advice and recommendations. S/he collaborates with functional partners at the Headquarters such as Payroll, Benefits, Workers’ Compensation, Risk Management, Leave Management, HRIS, etc. to ensure the highest compassion and personable HR services have been delivered promptly.


Position Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned:

  • Acts a liaison between business partners and support departments and works closely with the Human Resources leadership, Corporate Human Resources, Corporate Legal and appropriate Business Management in coordinating the investigation of policy violations, and determining the appropriate disciplinary action
  • Conducts a full cycle of recruiting, sourcing, attracting, and hiring the most qualified candidates.
  • Assists salary administration for new hires, reclassifications, reorganizations, and special projects
  • Continually monitors overall employees’ performance, consults with supervisors on the appropriate course to address performance issues, and provides legal and HR review to any performance documents prior to their delivery to employees.
  • Develops and maintains method by which to communicate HR policies and procedures effecting internal and external business practices to the business.
  • Assists in the administration and delivery of employee training; including managers’ training
  • Assists with employee relations and LOAs cases, interactive process, accommodations, makes sound decisions after consulting with the employee’s supervisor then communicates to employees the outcome tactfully and gracefully.
  • Collaborates with a centralized HR function to provide service to assist with all matters related to benefits, payroll, and regulatory compliance (EEOA, ADA, FMLA, COBRA, Workers' Compensation Act, and applicable State labor laws, etc.)
  • Manages Human Resources administrative systems, produces and creates complex HR reports as needed.
  • Facilitates the performance management process by supporting both managers and staff
  • Support the administration and implementation of the annual merit increase and bonus process
  • Ensures prompt and professional follow-through on all matters related to benefits, payroll, and regulatory compliance (EEOA, ADA, FMLA, COBRA, Workers' Compensation Act, NLRA, applicable State labor laws, etc.)
  • Directs special projects and coordinate Company functions and community projects.
  • Interviews qualified candidates both hourly and salaried, schedules interviews with the hiring managers and promotes diversity and fairness.
  • Provides technical guidance, consulting, and problem resolution for human resources related issues


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) Psychology, Business Management, Organization Development or equivalent
  • Five- seven years’ direct experience in Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP Preferred
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge HRIS applications and analytics
  • Solid knowledge of employment law, and HR policies and practices
  • Ability to travel within the USA (up to 5%)


The salary range for this position is $62,900 – $105,000.
