HOSPICE Office/Admin Coordinator in Carrollton, Texas - on-site position. Not Remote.

Job Summary:

  • Primary function is to schedule patient/client services and coordinate with staff.
  • Schedules and appropriately documents patient/client schedules in a timely manner.
  • Participates in coordinating care with management and patient/client interdisciplinary team.
  • Provides effective communication to patients/clients, staff members or other healthcare professionals
  • Responds to agency and patient/client needs in a professional mannger
  • Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency
  • Answer office phones and direct phone calls
  • Verify invoices and submit for approval
  • Reconcile billing against patient census
  • Intake of all new referrals which includes verification of benefits.


Job Qualifications:

  • Prior Hospice or Healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • Education: High School graduate, Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing, preferred.
  • Experience: One year experience in scheduling is required, medical/home health/hospice preferred.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid and current auto liability insurance.
