HOSPICE Office/Admin Coordinator in Carrollton, Texas - on-site position. Not Remote.
Job Summary:

Job Summary:
- Primary function is to schedule patient/client services and coordinate with staff.
- Schedules and appropriately documents patient/client schedules in a timely manner.
- Participates in coordinating care with management and patient/client interdisciplinary team.
- Provides effective communication to patients/clients, staff members or other healthcare professionals
- Responds to agency and patient/client needs in a professional mannger
- Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency
- Answer office phones and direct phone calls
- Verify invoices and submit for approval
- Reconcile billing against patient census
- Intake of all new referrals which includes verification of benefits.
- Prior Hospice or Healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Education: High School graduate, Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing, preferred.
- Experience: One year experience in scheduling is required, medical/home health/hospice preferred.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid and current auto liability insurance.
