How You’ll Help
The Educational Coordinator coordinates InGenius’ regional education programs, including both academic and extracurricular instruction, as well as counseling. This role is key in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of educational services within the area.
What You’ll Do
- Create and develop the education and counseling programs designed to promote the intellectual, social, and physical welfare of students, while establishing implementation procedures.
- Coordinate the execution of education and counseling programs to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with student needs. Participate in and observe teaching and counseling sessions, evaluating the performance of teachers and counselors, ensuring high standards are met.
- Coordinate teaching and counseling services, implementing improvements when necessary.
- Provide ongoing training to teachers and counselors, including holding regional conferences and workshops.
- Stay current with federal and state education policies and trends by attending professional development workshops and conferences within the education industry.
- Collaborate with teaching and administrative staff in curriculum development, ensuring that the teaching programs remain technologically relevant and up to date.
- Analyze student performance data to assess program effectiveness, continually refining programs to meet the needs of students and parents.
- Participate in the development of Washington D.C.-specific educational curriculum and services, aligning them with local student needs and market demand.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with schools, organizations, and individuals to foster business relationships and growth.
- Master's degree in Education or a closely related field;
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar capacity within the education industry, such as an Instructional/Educational Coordinator.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Higher and Post-Secondary Education Systems, including trends in college admissions and educational policies.
- Comprehensive understanding of curriculum development, training design, and the measurement of educational outcomes.
- The ability to use various assessment strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and counseling services.
- Proficiency in using data analytics to assess and improve program delivery and effectiveness
- Excellent coordination, communication, and analytical skills to effectively manage both education services and business growth initiatives.
