Western Tidewater CSB is seeking a Full -Time – Clinical Administrator for Developmental Disability services.

Overview:

  • Responsible for the coordination, planning, development, and implementation of strategies designed to complete program goals and objectives
  • Responsible for being on site a minimum of 2-3 days per week, unless waived by the Executive Director.
  • Responsible for service line development and overseeing productivity targets as mutually agreed upon with the Executive Director, Deputy Directory and/or Division Directors.
  • Responsible for ensuring management and staff are properly trained and develop training to assist employees with meeting their potential.
  • Completion and review of comprehensive diagnostic assessments and ISP’s; determination of medical necessity and eligibility for services;
  • Participation in chart reviews and documentation compliance oversight as authorized by the Clinical Director.
  • Maintaining documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations and agency policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring the implementation of any required performance measures including the capture of required data elements in the Electronic Health Record.
  • Oversee and evaluate team and individual performance, providing feedback, coaching, and addressing performance issues as needed.
  • Assist with creating, revising and enforcing agency/program policy and procedure.
  • Responsible for managing and allocating resources to meet program targets and informing agency leadership when resources are insufficient to meet timelines
  • Provide service data to DBHDS, DMAS, Medicaid and VMAP surveyors during facility and utilization reviews.
  • Responsible for assisting with developing marketing and communication plans related to assigned programs to ensure awareness of services of and supports to all stakeholders
  • Serve on local, regional or state committees, meetings, forums, etc.
  • Provide On-call support to management staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field; or 5 years direct work experience in a management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution required. Master’s Degree in Human Services or related field and three years experience with Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and/or Substance Abuse populations preferred.
  • Three years experience monitoring or implementing service and productivity development projects or programs.
  • QMHP/QDDP or Licensed Clinician preferred for Clinical Administrators
  • Valid current driver’s license and acceptable DMV record at time of hire and continuously thereafter
