Reports to: Customer Service Supervisor

Primary Responsibility: The primary function of the Customer Service Representative is to provide order-related information to internal and external customers. This department's goal is to maintain an existing customer base.

Critical Success Factors: Accuracy of information, response time, and attitude.

Specific Responsibilities Of Customer Service Include

  • Pricing/availability information (including existing specials).
  • Providing order status information on demand.
  • Order entry
  • Expediting orders
  • Fulfillment of warranty dispositions and delivery of service reports to customers, including but not limited to issuing/entering credits, entering repair/replace orders, writing reports, and following up with Engineering.
  • Coordinate inside resources to address specific customer service problems.
  • Maintain sales information database accuracy.
  • Assure that policies and procedures are followed.
  • Special assignments/tasks as assigned by Customer Service Supervisor.
  • Additional clerical duties within and outside the department as required.

This individual will be highly skilled in written and verbal communication and possess excellent organizational skills.
