We are currently seeking a Technical Program Manager to support a current proposal effort. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for the Government on all aspects of contract performance.
Please note: Due to the secure nature of this government agency, all candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and be eligible for a Public Trust.
The successful candidate will receive a contingent offer based on the outcome of a government background check. This may take several weeks, and the candidate cannot begin actual employment until the background check is successfully completed.
The primary responsibility of this position is to lead PM support by establishing a long-term relationship with our client and aligning to their vision by ensuring optimization of task order services and effective daily operations.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Provide management and oversight of all tasks ensuring the work is performed efficiently, accurately, on time, and in compliance with the task order requirements.
- Maintain the CX/customer satisfaction baseline to continuously improve ratings for performance, functionality, useability, and other methods that survey the customer experience. This baseline is based on past performance metrics.
- Create and recommend strategies to the Government on how CX/customer satisfaction can be improved while maximizing the value and efficiency derived from the investment in the operating systems and application deployment platforms.
- Create and maintain technical documents including SOPs and formal documents. This includes creating new documents as well as maintaining and updating existing documents.
- Develop and/or update and maintain other information system documentation including a System Security Plan, System Inventories, Configuration Management Plan, Contingency Plan, Risk Impact Assessment, Privacy Impact Assessment, and Plans of Action and Milestones (PO&AMs) as needed and as applications and services are added, significantly changed, or removed.
- Mitigate POA&Ms as required while providing status to client leadership.
- Participate in an established Change Advisory Board (CAB).
- Conduct an inventory of network hardware and recommend network refreshment upon request from the customer.
- Provide quality assurance to manage stakeholder concerns and minimize/resolve identified issues.
- Organize, manage, and deliver all data calls as directed with functional and technical analysis and provide appropriate approaches to the customer.
- Manage all consolidation activities around data gathering.
- Provide end user training and customer communication strategies to facilitate accessibility and useability of web-based applications and software solutions within the customer environment. Communication strategies shall include requirements gathering, requirements traceability, and alignment with the mission.
- Provide customer outreach and relationship management services that effectively facilitate communication between participating IT organizations and their customers.
- The ability to obtain Public Trust is required.
- Six to eight (6-8) years of relevant experience managing Federal IT services contracts.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills as demonstrated by work history reflecting ability to work well in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
- Excellent administrative skills: organized, efficient, and versatile.
- Must live within commuting distance of Silver Spring, MD.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is desired but not required.
- Professional certifications in IT technical areas such as help desk, cyber security, and/or ServiceNow are a plus.
